Let’s talk about hair loss and my own experience (Petra) with alopecia and regrowth. Please accept that this is my experience and I am not saying this would work for everyone. I have had hair loss (alopecia areata turning into alopecia universalis since 2007), and my hair has completely regrown three times. Then in 2016, it completely fell off including all my body hair. From October 2017, (over 1 year I was with 0% of body hair) I started to see a tiny regrowth, and got most of my hair back in 2019. The journey has its ups and downs but:

🤎I believe in sun and vitamin D, I have been using Vitamin D Thorne 20.000 units, 2-3x a week. They don’t sell this vitamin anymore. The maximum we can get now is Thorne 10.000 unit, which I still use about 4x a week (I get this from the USA). When I had no hair, I used to let the sun to do its work on my scalp as much as I could. I do advise overall to take off wig anytime you can and let your scalp breath. 🤎 I believe in Yoga; I started practising Hot Bikram Yoga and I believe that helped my nearly full regrowth. Since I started Yoga, I learned to accept myself without wearing a wig.

🤎I have been using the High Frequency Portable Machine (which is advertised to be just for a face). I use it for my scalp and believe that it activates blood circulation and therefore helped regrowth.

🤎Overall diet improvement; getting rid of sugars, white flour and carbohydrates. What is your experience with regrowth and what do you think helps? Let’s share tips and support each other in our hair loss journeys!
